Research Interests

My lab is focused on cognitive control. We use experimental psychology paradigms along with the techniques of functional and structural MRI and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and we study neurological patients.

I am interested, in particular, in how frontal/basal-ganglia circuits are engaged during cognition and in how pathology of these circuits relates to neuropsychiatric conditions such as impulse control disorders.
