Graduate students may request and be assigned TA appointments for Summer Session.
Occasionally, there are also opportunities for additional 25% TA appointments during the academic year to meet the department’s teaching assistant needs. This is only available to United States Citizens and Permanent Residents.
Three times a year, the Graduate Coordinator will issue a call for applications for the Anderson Travel Fund, to support travel to present a research work at a scholarly conference. These awards are possible due to a generous gift from Professor Emeritus Norman Anderson.
The size of the award varies with available funding but awards in the $700 range are typical.Those without access to outside grant funding and those who have received less from the fund in the past receive slightly larger awards.
